Open letter from ACFID to Prime Minister: Don't Cut Aid
Below is an email from ACFID - please consider supporting this campaign to keep our commitment to overseas aid in the Budget:
Please find attached ACFID’s Media Release and Open Letter to the Prime Minister, which were released publicly yesterday.
The letter carries the weight of our sector, as well as many prominent Australians, business and religious leaders; from The Wiggles, to Geoffrey Rush and Hugh Jackman, to Missy Higgins, to powerful Executives and the President of the ACTU, to prominent church leaders, we are making our united voice heard.

The ACFID Executive Committee met yesterday with Minister for Foreign Affairs, Bob Carr.
