Press release: Religious Discrimination Bill 2021 – Bad for Women

ERA will be giving evidence before the Senate Standing Committee on Legal And Constitutional Affairs tomorrow, calling on the Government to go back to the drawing board with the Religious Discrimination Bill. We need a bill which properly enacts the Right to freedom of thought, conscience and belief as set out in the ICCPR, not a bill that will contribute to cultures which demean women.
