Media Release: It’s time to modernise the Commonwealth Maternity Leave Act

ERA is calling on the Federal Public Service Commission to modernise the Maternity Leave Act covering Commonwealth employees, so it enables gender equality. Outdated parental leave provisions can reinforce harmful gender stereotypes and harm women in the workplace.
