Figures and dates

We take figures from official releases and check them against the source before publishing. Payment rates, income limits and caps change regularly, many of them on 1 July each year, and agencies revise their data. Each page shows the date we last checked its figures. The agency's own website is the authority on current rates.

Use of government data

Our pages use data published by Australian government agencies and credit each one with a link to the original release. Those agencies do not endorse this site or our analysis. Where we calculate a figure ourselves, the page says so.
